Fall inspiration

This is one of my favorite times of the year. Long walks with my dog, Tasha, while enjoying the crisp air and the changing color of the leaves - nothing better! Well, except being inspired to make beautiful new jewelry. Just as I love to see the oranges and yellows on the oaks in our community, I so enjoy looking at the stones in my collection and visualizing the various color combinations. Maybe it is a yellow jasper with a green tourmaline, or a smokey colored quartz accent stone to complement a jade variscite. The color patterns dance in my head, and like puzzle pieces, I arrange them in a way that works and that brings out the beauty of each stone.
