How do I take care of my jewelry?
- Polished silver jewelry care
To preserve the polish of your sterling silver jewelry, avoid exposure to household cleaning products, bleach and other strong chemicals. To prevent the natural tarnishing process, we recommend you store your sterling silver jewelry in tarnish-resistant cloths or bags, which slow down tarnishing. Keep your sterling silver jewelry in a cool, dry place and separate from other jewelry which could cause scratches.
We recommend you clean your jewelry using polishing cloths that are specially formulated for sterling silver jewelry.

Gold-fill jewelry is different from gold-plated jewelry. Gold-fill jewelry has a layer of gold pressure-bonded to quality jewelers brass and contains 5% gold by weight (that’s 100x more gold than gold-plated!). When wearing your gold filled jewelry avoid swimming pools and spas. Chlorinated water (prolong contact with it) can ruin it. - Ethiopian opal jewelry care
Ethiopian Opals are "hydrophane", which makes them thirsty for water. If they come in contact with water (or any liquid), they will absorb it like a sponge. It can result in color change and/or make your opal dull. Avoid harsh environments, lotions and sprays (like hair spray or perfume). Do not wear when exercising to avoid contact with sweat. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners or any liquids to clean your opal jewelry. Just wipe with a soft and dry microfiber cloth after every use to eliminate fingerprints, dust, and dirt. Avoid high temperatures.
