What will 2024 bring?

As someone who tends to get the itch to travel quite often, will this new year bring fresh adventures? Might we find ourselves pulled back to Europe once again? My husband is already pursuing teaching positions in places like France, Portugal, Norway, and Germany. I have to admit that any one of those countries sounds like a wonderful place to embark on a new chapter of discovery, not only personally, but professionally. When I am stimulated creatively by my environment, my work inherently follows different paths. The constant push to adapt and imagine new ways of showcasing my work is something that I hope you appreciate in me, and perhaps one reason for your incredible support.

Even if this New Year doesn't bring about such dramatic changes in the day to day, I do know that I will strive to enjoy each and every moment - be present to what is! I will continue to enjoy my little family, our lovely home, and of course, our sweet girl, Tasha! The frequent trips to DC to enjoy our favorite restaurants and museums; the weekly jaunt to Bean Rush for a lox bagel fix; waking up to admire the kitchen bathed in the morning sunlight; the daily walk with Kevin and Tasha around our neighborhood, and even waking up in the middle of the night with a wonderful design for a new piece. These are the small and big moments that make up my life.
