Since I began creating these colorful hand-knotted necklaces, I have marveled at how eager I am to dive into a new strand. This “Funfetti” necklace brings together a vibrant collection of faceted gemstones. It features a carefully selected, vibrant palette of orange carnelian, velvety amethyst, deep red ruby, vivid green onyx, opaque phosphorite, translucent green apatite, and icy-blue aquamarine. I call this one a Winter Palette necklace because of the deeper more saturated colors. I chose purple silk thread to knot this piece, it blends in letting the colors sing. The gems are tiny at 3-4mm, and it took me a long time to complete this piece, but the result is so worth it. This beauty is 34.5” in length, and can be worn long, or doubled up. It is finished with handmade oxidized sterling silver/18K gold toggle clasp, which adds this artistic feel to the strand. Enjoy!
