Citrine and apatite hand-knotted with rainbow silk necklace -
There is a beautiful story of contrast happening here. I hand-knotted this entire piece using a vibrant, rainbow-hued silk thread. If you look closely, you can see how the silk shifts beautifully in color block transitions right between the beads, which gives the traditional knotting technique a really playful, modern energy. I anchored the design withgorgeous, faceted natural gemstones -sunny, golden citrines meeting these deeply saturated, electric blue apatite beads in the middle. Because it’s completely hand-knotted, the drape on the neckline is incredibly fluid and soft, and it feels like absolute luxury against the skin. It’s vibrant and it’s joyful. Finished with gold filled lobster clasp and extender, this necklace is more of a chocker with the length at 15-16“. Enjoy!
