The most notable unique feature of Dalmatian jasper is its black-and-white speckled pattern. The stone's coloration resembles the coat of the Dalmatian dog breed, which is how it earned its name. These round cabochons are set in oxidized sterling silver with natural Australian opal accents. Opals are set in 22K gold bezel. Backs of the jasper are open. Earrings are 1 7/8" long, and the weight almost 6 grams each.
