Free form stone with facets that are placed based on the cutter's intuition, which results in non-uniform, organic look and magical reflection of light. I think it offers a more complex visual interest than perfectly symmetrical cuts. This gem has an incredible color - I think this is the most beautiful amethyst I ever worked with!
