WOW!! Not often you can across dioptase! This one is from my home country Kazakhstan. The gem has been cut from a cluster of small gemmy crystals and displays the characteristic (emerald green) color of this stunning mineral variety. Over 74 ct. in weight, this cabochon measures 34x19.5mm. I set it in 22K gold bezel with natural 4mm deep blue sapphire as an accent. The sapphire is set in 18K gold. Other accents and the hand-forged hook clasp are solid 18K gold as well. The pendant measures 1 5/8 x 3/4". The necklace is 17-19" long (adjustable).
