The tranquil shades of the ocean or sea foam in grandidierite is like no other stone. It is a very unique and distinct shade of blue-green, and the translucent kind is the most rare and most valuable. This gem grade grandidierite is super vivid, almost 4ct. in size, translucent and has a beautiful cut. I set it in 22K gold bezel on top of 18K gold bimetal (solid gold fused to silver) with bi-metal band. So on the outsize this ring is all gold, with silver lining inside the band and on the back of the backplate. Ring's face measures 5/8 x 9/16". Size - fits to finger size 7 (7.5 on mandrel, but fits smaller due to the wide band).
