A well cut high quality sphene can produce multi-color fire that suppresses the brilliance of a diamond. The effect is a dazzling array of rainbow flashes. This one is small, but mighty, and it does have a rainbow color in it, especially when sunlight hits it. It is 1/2ct. in weight and measures 6mm in diameter. I set it in 14K gold bezel on top of bi-metal textured backplate. The backplate texture is created by fusing silver chain into silver sheet. I am pretty sure I am the only one who has ever doe that, because most people do not think of melting a perfectly good chain to create a texture :). It's unique for sure. The bail jump ring is 18K gold. Pendant measures 7/8" in diameter. Chain is 18" - optional (add on).
