Green strawberry quartz and freshwater pearl silk-knotted bracelet -
I have been into knotting lately, it is so meditative and I love the hand-crafted look of the knotted pieces. Hot pink silk has been my favorite choice for knotting most of the gemstones - it adds a playful, often unexpected contrast to gleaming gems almost of any color. These pale green strawberry quartz have a color of emerald, and they look so pretty with hot pink silk. The flower bead is a natural freshwater pearl with subtle pink color and hints of green iridescent luster. Bracelet is finished with gold filled lobster clasp and extender. Length is 7-8โ (adjustable). Sorry I am not be able to change the length for this one since it is hand-knotted and would require re-working a whole piece.
I use a hand dyed silk, please be aware that dyed silk may transfer color or bleed when wet.ย
Care tips: To keep silk-knotted pieces looking their best, protect them from moisture and chemicals. Never wear your silk-knotted jewelry in the shower, pool, or ocean. Water weakens wet silk fibers, making them prone to stretching and snapping. Put your jewelry on after applying hairspray, perfumes, lotions, and makeup. Chemicals in beauty products break down silk and dull any paired gemstones. Clean dust and skin oils off by wiping them with a soft, dry, lint-free microfiber cloth. Do not pull on the strand.ย
