Chunky faceted lavender amethyst in this piece with unique hand-guided method of gem cutting. Free form stone with facets that are placed based on the cutter's intuition, which results in non-uniform, organic look and magical reflection of light. I think it offers a deeper, more complex visual interest than perfectly symmetrical commercial cuts. Just beautiful! Set (with the back open) in 22K gold bezel with 18K gold accents.
