Mabé pearls, also known as blister pearls, are half-pearls that are cultivated on the inside of a mollusk's shell. A small nucleus is attached to the shell of the mollusk and left to accumulate nacre over a period that usually runs about two or three years. This maybe pears are gorgeous! They have multiple colors ranging from grey to green to purple and even pink. The luster is high with iridescence to it. High quality pearls, absolutely gorgeous! Set in 22K gold bezel with 18K gold rings and sterling silver back plates. Gold filled ear wires (solid gold ear wires are available on my website for extra charge). Earrings are 1 3/4" long. Pearl settings measure 3/4" across approx.
