This piece is made with Indonesian moss agate and natural high grade Campitos turquoise (Mexico). The Campitos mine is the only known source of this gemstone, and it produces only a limited supply every year. This means that Campitos Turquoise is highly valued by collectors, and its scarcity makes it even more valuable. The agate comes form Indonesia, and it looks like a little terrarium with plants - you can really see the mossy inclusions in the orangy chalcedony. I set this gem in oxidized sterling silver with 18K gold accents. The blue turquoise complements warm colors in the agate beautifully. Finished with a hand-forged hook clasp and extender this necklace measures 16.5 - 20" long. The pendant measures 1 1/4" (diameter). Gorgeous!
