Russian azurite nodules from the South Ural region are famously called "blueberry" geodes due to their naturally round shape and deep blue color. When these small, spherically shaped stones are cut in half, they reveal a dazzling blue crystalline interior. The intense velvety blue and crystal-lined inside of this Russian azurite geode is appareled. The contrast between polished surface and the shimmering, vibrant core makes it a breathtaking visual spectacle. Set in oxidized sterling silver with 18K gold accents. Hand made ear wires. Earrings are 1 1/2" long, and each one weights 5 and 5.9 gram. The geodes measure 3/4" across.
