This massive, rose-cut iolite sunstone is quite a find. Its triangular facets catch the light like shifting constellations. The gemstone embodies a dramatic duality - deep, ink-blue twilight iolite bleeds seamlessly into the fiery, copper-gilded schiller of sunstone. It looks like a captured galaxy. One can get lost in it! Set in warm 22K gold bezel with swirly oxidized sterling silver bail. Tucked where the bail meets the gemstone are two miniature 18K gold leaves. They bring a touch of delicate nature to the sculptural metalwork. A single, brilliant diamond accent rests below the leaves. It adds even more sparkle to the piece. A few 18K gold granulation complete the design. Back of the Iolite is open. Pendant measures 2x1“ (not including the bail loop). Iolite measures 41x25mm“ (46ct.), chain is 18” - optional (add on).
