These hand-crafted earrings features absolutely striking, natural bi-color watermelon tourmalines. A perfectly matched pair with vibrant, clear transition from that ripe pink into a crisp, refreshing green. These oval cabochons have rose cut where light-catching facets across the surface make the stones look almost watery.I love the delicate sparkle of this cut. The gems are set in a 22K gold bezels with 18K gold rings and oxidized sterling silver backplates. The gold has luxurious matte finish. For the ear wires, I wanted a touch of contrast, so I hand-forged them from oxidized sterling silver (If you prefer solid gold ear wires, I offer them on my website for extra charge). The dark, dramatic patina of the silver balances the warmth of the gold beautifully, giving the entire piece a contemporary, wearable edge.
