Yellow Grossular garnet and Australian white opal pendant -
This pendant features a vibrant, yellow grossular garnet set side-by-side with a fiery white Coober Pedy Australian opal (1.1ct.). Both gemstones are nestled in rich, 22K gold bezels atop a heavy, oxidized sterling silver backplate with organic, raw edges. I deliberately left the edges unfinished to create a contrast between raw and refined in this piece. The silver has been oxidized to add a dark, moody contrast that pushes the vibrant stones and gold forward. The piece hangs from two 18K gold loops serving as a minimal, integrated bail. It is shown on beaded blue tourmaline necklace, which is sold individually. Pendant measures 1 x 3/4โ (not including the bails). Chain is 18โ - optional (add on).
